Education
We believe Education is the most sure way to fight poverty and to improve livelihood.
A great number of Children in our Community are Orphans and many others are from extremely poor backgrounds, unable to raise School fees or Scholastic Materials. In these Circumstances, many remain roaming villages looking for domestic Child Labour to make their Life ends while other Children elsewhere are going to attend School.
VERDE-Uganda has provided a makeshift, semi-enclosed structure for a classroom environment. In addition, VERDE-Uganda is constructing more permanent structure, to dramatically increase access to school for orphans and children from extremely poor backgrounds.
Makeshift Classrooms
VERDE-Uganda has provided a Temporal Wooden Makeshift Structure used for Classrooms accessible to at least 200 of the most desperate Children ages 4-12 years to Pre-primary and Lower Primary Education.Nyakalado Pre-primary and Primary Day Care Center
VERDE-Uganda has commenced construction of a pre-primary day care center, breaking ground and building a foundation. The school is planned to have 210 classroom desks.

VERDE-Uganda requires US $12,500 to complete construction of the school, including provisions for school furniture and stationery, as well as US $4700 to drill and construct a borehole well for children in the care of VERDE-Uganda, many of whom are without parents, or from extremely poor backgrounds.
