VERDE-Uganda

At a seminar for improved methods of agriculture, VERDE-Uganda distributes improved vegetable and maize seeds to rural households.

VERDE-Uganda is empowering the rural households through women, child headed households and other community members, to fight hunger and find household incomes.

Once the Seminars are finished, we purchase and Distribute to the people Improved Maize Seeds, Beans Seeds, and Vegetable Seeds.  In addition, we provide, Garden tools and Input,  and improved breeds of fast multiplying animals, such as goats, cows and pigs.

This is continuous process which require a lot of supervision, monitoring and evaluation in households.

VERDE-Uganda has distributed Maize and Beans seeds for food. 

VERDE-Uganda distributed improved goats to rural women to fight poverty.

VERDE-Uganda has encouraged vegetable growing by distributing improved seeds.
